🤠 LET’S NOT FORGET — IT’S BANDY’S 91ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! 🎉

Mark your calendars for November 20th as we come together to celebrate our favorite cowboy, Bandy!

From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, let’s gather to take pictures, share memories, and congratulate Bandy on 91 wonderful years of life. He has helped pave the way for so many of us, sharing his knowledge, wisdom, and the true cowboy way.

Following the birthday celebration, the Michigan Heritage Rodeo will take place in the Pavilion!

Let’s come out, show our love, and celebrate a living legend who has given so much to our cowboy community. ❤️🐎

2026 Annual Ira Sears Picnic & Trail Ride

Now that the 2026 Annual Ira Sears Picnic and Trail Ride is officially in the books, I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this an amazing and unforgettable day!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and the beautiful horses and their riders came out to enjoy the scenic trails of Detroit’s Rouge Park.

The cookout was fantastic, featuring our infamous fried fish for everyone’s enjoyment!

I would be remiss if I didn’t give a special shout-out to Chef Rod and his team, his lovely wife Rose, Elaine, and everyone else who pitched in to make sure the food and festivities were a success. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed!

A HUGE thank-you to EVERYONE who contributed food and monetary donations. Your generosity helped make this picnic possible. A special thanks to Sharon Glenn. Although she couldn’t be with us in person, she made sure we had the tools and resources needed to make this event a success. We truly appreciate you!

And, of course, we can’t forget DJ Kev, who always knows how to keep the party going!

To our MBHA family, our guests, riders, and everyone who came out to share in the fun, fellowship, and good times — THANK YOU for making this an epic event and a day we’ll always remember.
