Fear of heights? Nah. Fear of sitting jobless while the world gets built without us? That’s the real danger.
Up here, it’s not just about guts it’s about grit, grind, and putting food on the table.

Just another day on the job, working at height and getting it done.Steel, sun, and focus.

Ironworkers weren’t just fearless.
They trusted their skill, their brothers beside them, and the steel beneath their boots.
No harnesses. No shortcuts. Just nerve, balance, and pride in the work.
Every skyline was built by people who weren’t afraid of heights or hard days.
Respect the craft. Respect the ones who came before us.

Standing high above the ground, we raised that “Iron Workers Local 86” banner with pride. It wasn’t just cloth and print, it was our identity, our brotherhood, our blood and sweat stitched into every letter.

I still remember my first day on the job, nervous hands, heart pounding as I stepped onto steel like it was a tightrope. But the crew had my back. They taught me more than welding and rigging they taught me what it meant to be solid, dependable, union strong.

That day in the picture? It was more than a photo op. It was a statement: we’re still here, building America from the ground up, one beam at a time.

And maybe one question always lingers, how many people even notice the ones who build the skyline they admire?

Forged in sweat, held together by trust. This is what real strength looks like.
