Denim Day is more than a moment: it’s a movement. A reminder that “victim” blaming has no place in our communities, and that what someone wears never justifies harm.

Through Operation: S.A.S.H.: Sexual Assault Stops Here, we are committed to breaking the silence, demanding accountability, and creating safe spaces for survivors to be seen, heard, and supported.

As she steps into her golden year (29 on the 29th), we’re still glowing from this past weekend’s “Unmasked & Unbreakable” masquerade gala—a beautiful and successful night of community, purpose, and impact.

Kyla continues to lead with intention, using every moment, including her birthday, to uplift others and advance the mission of Operation: S.A.S.H.

This Women’s History Month, we’re turning compassion into action.

Join Operation: S.A.S.H. and D’House of Angels () for our Donation Drive in support of domestic violence survivors. 💜

We’re collecting full-sized toiletries and new or gently-used purses to help restore dignity, confidence, and care for women in need.

We’ll be collecting donations this Friday at our gala!

Every donation makes a difference, and as a thank you, all donors will be entered into a raffle to win two Pistons game tickets! 🏀

Hosted by Founder & Executive Director Kyla Wright, the event celebrates her golden birthday year by uplifting the mission of supporting survivors and strengthening community. ✨

On behalf of Operation S.A.S.H., we officially conclude our 2nd Annual Adopt-A-Family initiative with hearts full of gratitude.

A sincere thank you to our sponsors: Pilot Physical Therapy and the 2025 Detroit Lions Fans of the Year, and and our donors who made this possible, for stepping up and showing what true community support looks like.

Because of you, families were loved on and supported in meaningful ways.
This initiative may be complete, but the mission continues. Stay tuned for what’s next 💝

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret that we have to cancel tonight’s event. As we know that our community was looking forward to Wrap & Rap, we will absolutely have other mixers in the future.
