🎉Today these three incredible boys turn 4 months old. They are Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mixes. They are beautiful. They are sweet. They are the bestest boys.

And somehow — SOMEHOW — all three of them are still looking for their forever homes.

Before we introduce them — for 4 month old puppies, these three are impressively far along. Potty training, crate training, and leash training are all well underway. Not perfect — they’re babies — but genuinely ahead of the curve and we are so proud of them.

They must go to homes with an adult dog. They all love kids and are cat tolerant. One of them might just be your perfect match. Here’s who they are:

🏔️ AMAZON
The energetic one. Takes after mom — more Shepherd/Husky in nature. Playful, curious, full of that classic puppy charm you came here for. He’s the leaner one of the group and will likely top out around 90 lbs. If you want an adventure buddy who will keep you on your toes, Amazon is your guy.

🏔️ TAHOE & SAINTE
The big lazy babies. These two take after dad — full Pyrenees energy, which means enormous, laid back, and perfectly happy to sleep most of the day and then grace you with their presence. They will likely hit 120+ lbs and they will use every single pound of it to lean on you. If you want a giant, gentle, easygoing couch companion — meet your match. Times two.

🚨 JUST RESCUED — AFTER 15 HOURS, ROO IS FINALLY SAFE 🚨

We were contacted about a dog that had been dumped at Lakewood Park. For at least a week and a half, she had been surviving completely on her own.

Countless people had tried to help her. Several were able to get her somewhat close, but never close enough to secure her.

We were also told that Animal Control had come out the night before we were contacted. They attempted to catch her, chased her, and she disappeared completely for 24 hours.

We honestly weren’t sure we’d ever see her.
But we showed up anyway.

At 8 AM, after searching the park, we spotted her laying in the middle of a field, sunbathing.

We immediately set our trap.
Within the first 30 minutes, she entered.
Our hearts were racing.

And then…Nothing. This girl was SMART.

She carefully stepped around the trigger plate, reached every piece of food, and walked right back out.

She then left the park completely and took off down the main road. We followed..

Thankfully, we were able to carefully navigate her back toward the park without pushing her too hard.

She immediately hunkered down, and was asleep in the grass, completely exhausted from her day of dodging humans.

When she woke up hours later-she attempted to leave the park again.

A man riding a bicycle crossed the bridge at the exact right moment and spooked her right back toward us.

We got out of our vehicle knowing that if we approached her, she’d likely run into the field and hopefully toward the trap.

That’s exactly what happened.
By the time we got back to our vehicle…
The trap door had closed.

After 15 hours, at around 11 PM, Roo was finally safe.

Roo is a young Shepherd/Pit mix, around 1½ years old.

Despite everything she’s been through, she is unbelievably sweet. She’s shy, and trying to process the last week and a half of her life, but she’s already giving us paw, sneaking kisses, and showing us just how special she is.

Now Roo needs a Long-Term Foster-to-Adopt!

Foster to Adopt Needed

Earl Grey has limited rear end mobility. He also has absolutely no idea that this is supposed to slow him down — and so it doesn’t.

He came to us abandoned and emaciated, still working to put weight on. And yet from the moment he arrived he has been nothing but joy. He drags himself almost anywhere he wants to go like it’s the most normal thing in the world, has taken to his wheelchair like he was born in it, and greets every single person like they are the highlight of his entire day.

Because to Earl? They are.

He has full bowel and bladder control and is completely potty trained — which tells you everything you need to know about how remarkable he is.

🦴 HOW IS HAMBURGLER STILL AT THE SHELTER. WE ARE NOT LOVIN’ IT. 🦴
Adopter or Foster Needed — Somebody Break This Boy Out

Hammy came to us with a chain around his neck, having stood in the rain for days outside a factory without moving. We told you his story. You loved him. And yet — here he is. Still at the shelter. Still bringing that smile to every single person who walks past his kennel. Still waiting.

We are not lovin’ it. Not even a little.

He is silly. He is loving. He is toy obsessed in the most endearing way possible. He has a smile that will stop you in your tracks and make your whole day better without even trying. The shelter staff are absolutely smitten and have been since day one.

Hammy just needs a little patience on first introduction — go slow, say hi properly, let him check you out. And then? He’s yours forever. That’s the whole thing. No special sauce required.

We have continued looking for something wrong with him. We have found nothing. If anything we’ve found more things that are right. He is smarter than we expected. He is gentler than we expected. He is, frankly, an overachiever and we are so proud.

He’s closer to 45 lbs now, those magnificent ears are still very much doing the most, and he is ready. He has been ready. He is just waiting for the right person to finally show up.

🚨 JUST RESCUED — DUMPED AT A FIRE STATION 🚨

Last night, the firefighters next to our shelter got an unexpected visitor.

Someone dropped of their dog at their firehouse. Saying they could no longer take care of them.

Thankfully, this little guy is now safe and secure.

🐾 Meet Oswald 🐾

Oswald is a compact little short stack with a giant heart. We’re guessing he’s around a year and a half old, though we’ll know more once he gets checked over.

Right now, he’s understandably a little hesitant and shy. New people and new environments are a lot to process when your whole life changes overnight.

But underneath that uncertainty is an incredibly sweet boy who just wants to feel safe.

✨ What we know so far• Around 1.5 years old (estimated)• Extremely sweet• Shy at first, but warms up• Non-reactive to dogs• Small, adorable, and built low to the ground 😅• We think he could do well in most households

The good news? Oswald is safe.

The bad news? Our shelter is full.

Cloudy is approximately 6 months old, a Shepherd/Husky mix, and she is absolutely stunning — all white, silly, and full of more energy than she quite knows what to do with yet.

She is not a lap dog. She will not be curling up on you for movie night. But she WILL be right there next to you, in your orbit, ready to go the second you are. She is social and present and wants to be part of everything — she just expresses love through action, not snuggles. Very on brand for a herding dog.

She needs a job. She needs space. She needs someone who gets it.

• ~6 months old | Shepherd/Husky mix | All white and absolutely breathtaking
• Playful, silly, and full of herding dog energy — she is a whole hobby

• Will chase, jump on, and nip at small kids — best with older kids who can handle her energy
