Food Recovery Network at Wayne State Fighting Waste. Feeding People. Food Recovery Network is the largest student movement against food waste and hunger in America.

It was started in 2011 by a group of students from the University of Maryland, and has since then expanded to over 180 college campuses, recovering over 1.2 million pounds of food! Wayne State University has recently joined this movement by creating its own chapter for the Food Recovery Network.
