Michigan Abolitionist Project: Southeast Michigan

Michigan Abolitionist Project: Southeast Michigan Helping people use their gifts and talents to prevent and end modern slavery and human trafficking in Michigan and beyond.

The Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP) helps people use their gifts and talents to prevent and end modern slavery in Michigan communities and beyond. We need community members to help us respond to the atrocity of modern slavery that exists throughout Michigan. MAP volunteers are business owners, college students, pastors, artists, stay-at-home moms and dads, writers, teachers, lawyers, construct

ion workers, hair dressers, medical professionals, social workers, marketing experts, computer techs, professors, and more! We are living proof that anyone can do something to prevent and help end slavery. MAP Community Groups are open to anyone interested in learning more or becoming involved with anti-slavery initiatives in Michigan communities. The monthly agenda usually includes a guest speaker, update on the group’s initiatives, review of local activities and events, and networking among participants.
