A toddler and a 14 year old had to jump from the fifth floor. Thankfully citizens stacked mattresses to aid in their rescue. The 14 year old was injured and hospitalized. Their mother was rescued by firefighters.
We are glad to announce that the person responsible for this fire has been arrested, charged, and given a $1,000,000 bond.

There were no injuries reported after an early morning fire at a unit in a Detroit apartment complex caused residents to evacuate the building on Thursday, officials say.

During Fire Prevention Month, Home Depot has combination extinguishers, smoke alarms, and carbon monoxide alarms on sale. Please check that your detectors are working properly, have fresh batteries, and are not expired and that your extinguishers are fully charged.

Police in Detroit have released a new video of at least four men breaking into Stash Detroit on Sept. 12.
