When mothers are supported, families thrive. When families thrive, communities grow stronger.

Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association (BMBFA) is creating lasting change by supporting mothers, babies, doulas, and peer counselors with care rooted in community and culture.

Your gift helps make this work possible—providing breastfeeding support, culturally centered doula care, community programs, and essential resources that help families feel supported, empowered, and seen.

Together, we can nurture healthier families and uplift a stronger Detroit.

Give today and be part of the village.

As we close out Black Breastfeeding Week, we want to celebrate the strength, resilience, and love of Black mothers in every feeding journey. 💜🤎 We honor the moms who breastfeed, the moms who may not be able to breastfeed but successfully seek out resources like donor milk, and every mother doing what’s best for her baby and family.

Your journey matters, your advocacy matters, and you deserve to be supported and uplifted every step of the way. 🫶🏾 Let’s continue breaking barriers and ensuring Black families have access to the resources, support, and equitable care they deserve.
