The Liberian Association of Michigan (LAM) is proud to host a special Michigan Town Hall Meeting with the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) and National Port Authority (NPA) as part of the Office of Diaspora Affairs’ regional engagement.

Join us to hear directly from Liberian officials, ask questions, and learn more about important issues affecting Liberians in the diaspora including duty-free provisions, real estate taxes, payment channels, taxpayer rights and obligations, and more.

The Liberian Association of Michigan (LAM) in partnership with the Detroit Health Department and Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency invites you to Healthy Together Detroit - a FREE, family-friendly community health event.

COME OUT THIS SATURDAY!

Join us for Farmers Day, a fundraiser sponsored by the Culture Committee, on Saturday, September 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or until all vendors are sold out, at the Liberian Community Center, 13300 Puritan Avenue, Detroit, MI 48233.

Come hungry and ready to shop! We’ll have authentic Liberian food, music, clothing, accessories, local small businesses, and plenty of time to socialize and enjoy our community. Your support will also help raise funds for the Culture Committee.

VENDORS, WE WANT YOU! Vendor spots are only $25. If you have a business, sell food, clothing, accessories, specialty products, or other goods, this is a great opportunity to come out and showcase what you have to offer.

If you have your own table and chair, please bring them, as that is preferred. Our supply of tables and chairs is limited.

Interested in becoming a vendor? Contact Yassa at 313-622-9813 to sign up and secure your spot.
