If your child is diagnosed with Autism or ASD - Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and you live in Wayne County, despite of their Social Security Eligibility they also qualify for and extra $222.11 tax free from the Mental Health Authority. Your income has to be less than $60,000 a year. Provide your ID, MI 1040, and a letterhead from their school stating the child's diagnosis and placement.
