On behalf of the Detroit Hispanic Lions Club (DHLC), I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for participating in our 8th Annual Memorial Delia Trejo White Cane Fundraiser Drive and for helping us honor the memory of Delia Trejo. Since her passing on July 4th, 2015, we have dedicated this fundraiser in her honor to continue her legacy of service.
Delia was not only a dedicated member of the DHLC, but also served at Holy Redeemer Parish and School with unwavering compassion. This fundraiser allows us to carry on her legacy of kindness and community service, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support we've received over the years.
Thanks to the generous contributions from our community, the Lions Club has been able to assist with critical projects, including providing tuition assistance for students at Holy Redeemer Elementary, supporting local food banks, offering eyeglasses to those in need, and organizing other charitable events that make a meaningful impact on many lives.
This year we were able to collect over $1,800 in donations, in which $1,200 was given to Principal Sister Kateri at Holy Redeemer Grad school to help a family with tuition needs.
Your support helps us keep Delia's spirit of giving alive and make a lasting difference in our community. We look forward to your continued involvement in our efforts to serve those in need.

With sincere gratitude,
The Detroit Hispanic Lions Club

*Fundraiser will run all month long*

Hello, supporters, family, and friends of The Detroit Hispanic Lions Club (DHLC)
We are celebrating the 8th Annual Memorial Delia Trejo White Cane Fundraiser Drive! It has been eight years since our beloved late Lion Delia Trejo left us. Delia had been a member of The Detroit Hispanic Lions Club from 1996 until her passing on July 4th, 2015. DHLC continues to carry her legacy by celebrating her dedication with our Annual Memorial Delia Trejo White Cane Fundraiser Drive!
Despite the ongoing Covid pandemic over the past few years, your support in 2022 raised $ 1,720.00! Of the funds DHLC used donated $1,100 to Holy Redeemer Elementary by providing a tuition scholarship to a family in need. The remainder funds were donated to Leader Dogs for the Blind and supplies to local teachers through Donorschoose.org. The donations received from Delia’s Fundraiser Drive have impacted not only DHLC but the local southwest community.
This year, DHLC wants to continue supporting Most Holy Redeemer Grade school by providing tuition assistants, local community assistants and Lion club international charities.
We appreciate and thank you for all your donations!
