Woodward Corridor Initiative

Woodward Corridor Initiative The program is a one of the three core initiatives launched by Living Cities, a consortium of 22 of the world’s largest foundations.

The purpose of the Integration Initiative is to create a system of process change that will tackle critical issues impeding access to opportunity for low-income residents through a collaborative effort of public, private, philanthropic and non-profit partners. oit Inc. with support from partners ; Vanguard Community Development Corporation, The Skillman Foundation, Kresge Foundation, Hudson-Webber Foundation, Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, Henry Ford Health Systems, City of Detroit, Data Driven Detroit and U3 Ventures. The geographic are the project operates in are the North End and Midtown Communities. The four core areas the WCI will work to create change in are land-use planning, education, housing, and economic development. The team based in the Midtown Co-Lab will facilitate all of the work for this project with the partners.
