We strongly condemn the far-right extremist Jake Lang and those joining his planned anti-Muslim march in Dearborn, Michigan.

Lang and his supporters are calling this a “crusade.” They have spoken about militias, biker groups, violence and the possibility of a “street war.” This is not a protest over a particular law or decision. They are coming into a largely Muslim community to insult its residents and provoke an angry response.

That response is exactly what they want.

We urge Dearborn residents and everyone else in Metro Detroit not to give it to them. Unless you have legitimate business before the City Council, stay away. Do not confront Lang. Do not argue with his supporters. Do not become part of the footage they want to spread online.

Anti-Muslim hatred is already widespread in the United States and around the world. Lang wants videos he can use to make Muslims look dangerous while presenting himself as the victim. Fighting with him will only help him do that.

Nothing Lang says justifies violence against him. Attacking him would be wrong, would put more people in danger and would hand him exactly the propaganda he came to Dearborn to create.

Dearborn is not a battlefield. Its Muslim residents, some of whom I count among my friends, are ordinary people trying to live, work, raise their families and practise their faith in peace.

Let the police deal with anyone who breaks the law. Let Jake Lang shout his hatred at an empty sidewalk.

Hate is a fire, and attention is its oxygen. Give it no breath and let it die in silence.

Do not give him the attention he came for.

🩸 The American Red Cross has declared a blood shortage🩸

Hospitals rely on donated blood every day for surgeries, cancer treatment, emergency care, childbirth complications and many other medical needs. When donations fall, patients may be left waiting for care that cannot safely be delayed.

If you are eligible to donate, please consider making an appointment with the American Red Cross or another recognised blood service.

Kaharagian nationals and friends are also encouraged to join Lifeblood Kaharagia, our programme for recording and recognising voluntary blood, platelet and plasma donations.

Register and submit your donations at:

https://lifeblood.kaharagia.org/

Please donate if you can, and encourage others to do the same.

THE SOVEREIGN’S FOUNDATION DAY MESSAGE

Kaharagia is sixteen years old today.

In his Foundation Day Message, the Sovereign looks back on the years since 2010: what was built, what had to be rebuilt, and the people who kept the work going when few others saw it.

He also addresses the wider world. The message warns against authoritarian politics and the return of imperial thinking, and affirms Kaharagia’s duty to stand with smaller nations, Indigenous peoples, stateless peoples and cultural communities.

The message also launches Kaharagia20, a four-year programme leading to 16 July 2030. It sets out practical work on education, international relationships, environmental stewardship, open government and better ways for nationals to take part.

“Our Six Principles—Sovereignty, Dignity, Peace, Charity, Honour and Stewardship—should show in what we decide, not only in what we say on ceremonial days.”

As we continue to celebrate Kaharagia Week, we are pleased to introduce Lifeblood Kaharagia.

The scheme recognises Kaharagian nationals and friends of Kaharagia (yes! non-Kaharagians) who regularly donate blood, plasma or platelets.

Verified donations count towards the Medal of Merit for Blood Donations:

25 donations — Fourth Class
50 donations — Third Class
75 donations — Second Class
100 donations — First Class

Most donors will never meet the people they help, but every donation matters.

As we continue to celebrate Kaharagia Week, our five new official websites are now live.

The national website at kaharagia.org is the main place to find information about Kaharagia, its public institutions, laws, news and services.

The Royal Kaharagian Gazette at gazette.kaharagia.org is where you can find official publications, including decrees, decisions, appointments, honours, notices and correspondence.

ePortal at eportal.kaharagia.org allows you to view your record, receive official correspondence, access state services and apply for nationality.

The Kaharagia Shop at shop.kaharagia.org carries flags, pins, patches, stamps and other Kaharagian goods.

K-Connect at connect.kaharagia.org is the account used to sign in to Kaharagia’s online services.

Kaharagian nationals should soon receive a claim code by email. Entering the code will automatically link your existing profile to your K-Connect account.

If you do not receive a code, that is not a problem. Email [email protected] and we will link your profile for you.

Non-Nationals can create an account at any time.

These are new websites and systems, so there may still be a few things that need fixing. If you run into a problem, please contact us and we will help.
