For nearly two centuries, our congregation has stood as a witness to faith, freedom, justice, and community.

Founded in 1846, St. Matthew’s is one of Michigan’s oldest historically Black Episcopal congregations, with a remarkable legacy deeply connected to Detroit’s African American history and the Underground Railroad.

Now, we invite our friends, former members, families, community partners, clergy, elected officials, and neighbors from across Metro Detroit to celebrate this extraordinary milestone with us.

Give your student a summer that builds **confidence, leadership, and real-world skills** — all while having fun and exploring new opportunities! 🌟

👩🏾‍🎓 **Who:** Rising 9th & 10th graders
📚 **What:** Academic support (Math & ELA), STEM, entrepreneurship, arts, leadership & life skills
🚌 **Bonus:** Weekly field trips, college visits & hands-on experiences
