Little Emily Prowell went back to Heaven on Christmas Day as a beautiful Angel. Emiliy passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. During the familiys time of mourning and distress a family friend created a GoFundMe campaign and started to raise money for the Burial Fund. The following day the friend told the family that she had established a fund and to share the link. The family then shared with and solicited funds from friends, family and strangers. On December 29th suspicion had been raised when no one could donate further. It turns out that the funds were withdrawn from the account on that day. After contacting GoFundMe it was confirmed that the funds were withdrawn on the 29th, and were deposited on January 4th to the family friend. The family friend now has REFUSED to give the money to the Hatcher family to help with the funeral expenses. Not only has this family gone through such a heart breaking loss at Christmas, but has now suffered a cruel violation of trust. Detroit Police have told the family that because it was under $5000 they must handle this civily with the people who stole the money. This family needs our help as a loving and giving community to help this young mother put her baby to rest. Please, help us make this campaign go Viral.
Mechelle, Emily's Mommy will be listed as the Beneficiary, with photo Proof, so that there is no worries on who will be getting the money.
