🌱✨ The Circle of Life Garden is getting a facelift! ✨🌱
We are excited to continue transforming this special space into something our community can enjoy, learn from, and be proud of.
Our team is adding solar garden lighting along the walkway and beautiful shade plants to create a welcoming, peaceful, and inviting environment. ☀️🌿
One of the most special additions will be a sculpture created to preserve pieces of our community’s history. The sculpture will include pieces from Carstens Elementary School, which was demolished in May 2025, along with other pieces representing important places, stories, and history throughout our city.
This sculpture will be more than just a beautiful work of art. It will help keep memories and history alive. Each piece will tell part of a story, connecting our community's past with its future. ❤️🏛️🎨
This project is a reflection of the Manistique Community Treehouse Center’s mission of Holistic Empowerment through spaces that support our mental well-being.
We believe the spaces we create can encourage peace, reflection, learning, creativity, connection, and a stronger sense of community. 🌱💚
By summer 2027, we hope the Circle of Life Garden will be ready to welcome everyone into new financial literacy and reading literacy spaces, book-reading corners, gathering areas, and more. 📚💡🌿

We are proud to continue creating spaces where our community can gather, grow, learn, reflect, and enjoy the beauty around us—spaces where people are proud to live, proud to call their community home, and happy to bring their family and friends to enjoy. ❤️
We can't wait to grand open the completed garden and reveal the sculpture for everyone to see and experience—a beautiful piece of art filled with history, memories, beauty, and meaning.
