A little color, a lot of community, and something special for our youngest learners! 🎨❤️

The outdoor preschool playground at Academy of the Americas is getting a colorful refresh! This project started with a vision from the preschool teachers, will be brought to life by DeMacio, a talented local artist and parent, and will get an extra set of helping hands from high school art students. Bridgepointe is happy to help make it all happen by covering the cost!

We love seeing what happens when a community comes together to create something meaningful for its kids.

Here’s a peek at the first stage of the transformation. Stay tuned for more! ✨

Our Neinas Dual Language Learning Academy 8th graders headed to Michigan State University’s College of Engineering for another year of hands-on learning! 💚🤍 This marks our third year bringing students to campus to explore the world of engineering.

Students learned about what engineers do, spent time in the biomechanics lab, tried an electric circuit activity, toured campus, and chatted with current engineering students about their experiences.

We love giving our students opportunities to explore new interests, ask questions, and see what their futures could hold! 🦾

Today was one of those really good Bridgepointe days. ❤️✨

We spent the day at Academy of the Americas getting La Alacena ready for fall, with an amazing crew of 20+ Cummins Inc volunteers! Together, we picked up food from our friends at E&L Market and stocked the pantry for Academy families. 🥫🍎

Matthew and Bahar from Bridge to English also joined us to help provide the everyday essentials families need, from hygiene products and paper goods to cleaning supplies. A big shoutout to Academy of the Americas’ volleyball team for helping Bahar, Anna, and Matthew unload all those supplies! 🏐💪

We also got to spend time with Principal Nick Brown and tour the school, reflecting on the years of partnership and all the ways Cummins has helped make a difference at Academy.❤️

This is what Bridgepointe is all about: bringing people together, connecting resources with real needs, and showing up for our community. 🤝

Huge thanks to everyone who made this day happen! 💙

We wrapped up summer school in the sweetest way! Our

A pretty perfect way to end a summer full of growing, creating, and getting our hands dirty! ☀️🌱

For 15 years, June, along with her amazing friends and family, has carried on a beautiful tradition of love, compassion, and giving back to the students of Southwest Detroit. ❤️

Yesterday, they delivered school supplies to six Southwest Detroit schools, helping nearly 1,000 students start the school year ready to learn and thrive.

What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a 15-year tradition that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many children and teachers.

Thank you, June and your incredible village, for 15 years of love in action! ❤️📚✏️

🌼 Summer Garden Series: Part 3 🦋

Today’s little gardeners had an important job! Our Neinas Dual Language Learning Academy kindergarteners helped choose the perfect homes for the butterfly houses they painted. 💛

Every week the garden grows a little more—and so do the smiles. We can’t wait to see the continued progress of our garden and watch the butterflies make themselves at home! 🌱🦋✨

🌿 Summer Garden Series: Part 2 🦋

Our next garden project was all about getting creative! Neinas Dual Language Learning Academy summer school students painted colorful rocks and teamed up to decorate butterfly houses that will soon become part of the school's fairy and butterfly gardens. 🎨✨

It's been so fun watching these spaces come to life while students work together, get creative, and leave something special behind. We can't wait to see the gardens keep growing all summer long! 💚🌼
