This July, OUR WORLD scholars are packing their bags and heading on a 7-Day Study Abroad Adventure to Barbados; and it’s going to be nothing short of life-changing.

On May 21, we had the honor of presenting $1,000 scholarship each to the 2026 CTE Students of the Year at Randolph Career and Technical Center : Ra’Naeja Lewis and Tru Williams. This scholarship is part of our ongoing commitment to investing in Detroit’s future through Build Detroit.

During the graduation ceremony, we celebrated these two incredible scholars and their outstanding achievements.

A huge congratulations to Principal Jared Davis and the entire Randolph CTE family; this is a reflection of the amazing environment you’ve built.

We also recognize Dana Hughes, Executive Director of External Partnerships & Innovation - Career and Technical Education and Adult Education, for the continued support across the CTE programs in the region.

Ra’Naeja and Tru, you’ve earned this. We wish you both the best in your next endeavor!
