Our garden really showed off this week! 🌱🍅 From bright red tomatoes and deep purple eggplants to fresh green peppers and golden squash, the garden was full of color and an amazing variety of produce.
It was especially exciting to see just how much was ready to harvest all at once. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us pick, wash, and get everything ready. Another productive week at the HUDA Urban Garden! 💚🌶️

What an eventful day in the garden! 🌿

Filled with laughter, teamwork, and an incredible harvest, it was a day to remember.

We harvested so much fresh produce and were able to distribute it to the clinic today.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and lent a hand. Your support and dedication make days like this possible! 💚

Last Saturday, we had the privilege of collaborating with Peace Forge for a live Guns to Gardens demonstration. We watched as they heated a firearm, hammered it, and transformed it into a garden tool.
Seeing something associated with fear, loss, and violence become a tool that can help grow and nourish a community was incredibly meaningful.
Thank you to Peace Forge for sharing this experience with us and for showing us that transformation is possible. We are grateful for the demonstration, the conversations, and the vision of a future where instruments of violence can become tools for peace.
