“MAKE IT VISIBLE”

AWARENESS SHOULD BE VISIBLE.

We talk about sickle cell.

We post about sickle cell.

We advocate for sickle cell.

But what if we could make awareness visible every single day?

Imagine driving down the freeway and seeing:

4MYFAM

Imagine seeing another vehicle with the same plate.

Then another.

And another.

Suddenly, people are asking:

“What does that mean?”

And you’ve started a conversation.

That’s the power of the Michigan Sickle Cell Awareness License Plate.

Let’s put more plates on Michigan roads.

“WHAT DOES YOUR PLATE SAY?”

6 WEEKS TO GO

Your license plate says more than a combination of letters and numbers.

It can say:

I SUPPORT SICKLE CELL.

The Michigan Sickle Cell Awareness License Plate is an easy, visible way to stand with warriors and families across our state.

The plate costs $35, and $25 from each purchase goes directly to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America–Michigan Chapter.

Even when you renew, $10 goes back to support sickle cell warriors.

You don’t have to live with sickle cell to make a difference.

You just have to care.

Drive With a Purpose.

And this September, we’ll take that same purpose from the road to the community at the Sickle Cell Matters Walk on September 12 at the Charles H. Wright Museum.

08/04/2026

Every mile can make a difference. 🚗💨🚙💨

Whether you’re a warrior, caregiver, family member, friend, or simply someone who believes every person deserves hope, your support matters.

Get your Michigan Sickle Cell Awareness License Plate today and help fuel advocacy, emergency assistance, and awareness for families across our state.
