We’re just days away from Bridging Generations! 🧡

Strategic Community Solutions invites you to join us on Tuesday, September 22 for an evening dedicated to celebrating what can happen when generations come together through connection, storytelling, and mutual support.

Our Bridging Generations Fundraiser will highlight the work SCS is doing to support Detroit’s elders, provide relief and resources for caregivers, empower emerging youth leaders, and create stronger connections throughout our community.

Every ticket purchased helps provide vital funding that allows this work to continue. Our seniors carry decades of stories, lessons, experiences, and wisdom that deserve to be heard and preserved. Gems & Jewels was created by Strategic Community Solutions to help make that happen.🧡

In this initiative, our seniors are the Gems, and the meaningful stories and experiences they share become the Jewels. Through storytelling, we can preserve pieces of our cultural heritage, encourage connection across generations, and create opportunities for older adults to share experiences that might otherwise go untold. Every individual story becomes another thread in the larger story of our families and communities.

At Strategic Community Solutions, we recognize the important role caregivers play in strengthening our families and communities. Today’s is a reminder that caring for yourself is part of caring for others.

Ask for help when you need it. Make room for your own appointments and needs. Give yourself permission to rest.
