Continue Imam Nadir Ahmad’s Legacy: Al-Ikhlas Training Academy

With deep sadness, we share that the Founder and Director of Al-Ikhlas Training Academy, Imam Nadir Ahmad, returned to Allah on January 22, 2026.

With the permission of his family and the ATA School Board, we have launched a sadaqah jariyah campaign to honor his legacy and continue his lifelong mission of providing accessible Islamic education.

For 35 years, Imam Nadir dedicated his life to serving Muslim families, founding Detroit’s only Pre-K–12 Islamic school and never turning a child away due to financial hardship. His impact lives on through the thousands of students and families he served.

Please keep Imam Nadir in your du‘a and pray that Allah (SWT) grants him the highest ranks of Jannah and grants patience and strength to his family and community.

A legacy that will continue for generations.
