Hockey for Hope Detroit

Hockey for Hope Detroit Rebuilding the Youth of Hockeytown! Have you ever thought, man, what is happening to our country? And the kids these days, no respect!

Well instead of complaining about it, let’s step up and do something to change it! Our vision is to start a hockey organization targeting underprivileged children. This program is to be fully subsidized by the community, donors and investors. The main goal is to allow underprivileged children the opportunity to identify a positive role model in their life. The goal is for participating children to

attend leadership classes and do community service to earn equipment and ice time. Everything provided to players will be earned, instilling a sense of ownership and pride that they may not have otherwise experienced. The participants will learn that their circumstances do not define them, but allow them the opportunity to overcome the odds. The vision down the road is for a state-of-the-art training facility complete with 2 NHL ice arenas, gymnasium, swimming pool and first class weight room. This will allow the children to have something to call their own! Not only that, but it will give the community a place to come together. The long term scope is to have not only hockey organizations but facilities around United States to aid in the development of America’s future! This project is so big that it seems impossible, that is why we have to do it! Its not about one person, it’s about the community coming together to show America it’s not too late to have faith. That it is not too late to help change the way children grow up in this extremely confused society. I don’t even know what it’s going to take yet but many minds unified around a common vision and cause can accomplish more. So I ask you friends of Facebook, how about it? Do you want to dedicate some of your time and skills to help mold the next generation? Please contact me via email if you want to play a part in something great!
