BAHAMAS WARNING: The U.S. Embassy is urging Americans to avoid jet ski rentals across the Bahamas after "rogue operators" on Nassau's most popular beaches were linked to tourist deaths, hospitalizations and reported sexual assaults.

Ambassador Herschel Walker said operators have allegedly taken victims to isolated islands. At least three rapes involving jet ski operators were reported in 2024 alone.

U.S. government employees are now banned from renting or riding jet skis in the country.

A search is underway for a personal trainer in South Carolina who went missing after leaving a gym last week, authorities said.

Elena Katherine Moore, 39, was last seen walking away from a Planet Fitness in Lexington on Thursday, according to police. She was reported missing the following day, according to the Lexington Police Department.

🚨:One of the victims killed during the random shooting that occurred on Sunday in Detroit has not been identified yet.

Detectives have released this sketch in hopes of identifying the victim.

Police describe the victim as a female, 5’6”, 165 LBS., with brown eyes, medium build, two long braids, wearing a white hooded sweater and gray and black ‘Nike’ sweatpants.

She also had a multi-colored purse that contained green ‘New York’ basketball shorts in it.

If anyone recognizes this victim, call the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
