Demographic Inspirations- Detroit

Oh Me, Oh My! What this event has done for Demographic Inspirations- Detroit the Dexter-Linwood Cordon Block Club and the City of Detroit District 5. Students from the University of Detroit Mercy volunteered a Student Day to support our neighborhood with their interests in Neighborhood Beautification. Probably didn’t know how much these Freshmen, future Dentists, Biologists, Lawyers, and Electricians knew about Urban Gardens. Did not miss a beat. Had soooo much fun. Did Detroit great. Always welcomed back, this is your Neighborhood too.

I’m impressed with our reflection conversations with these Freshmen to learn that soon we’ll have Dentists, Biologists, Lawyers, Electricians and more as they continue their education and receiving there Cap and Gowns at the University of Detroit Mercy. Had soooo much fun.

Welp, we accomplished the Motor City Makeover 2026 weekend in District 5 with the Demographic Inspirations- Detroit team and a few Volunteers showing up to show their support for a clean, beautiful and inviting neighborhood. There’s still more to be done as the expected City services did not show and still have that expectation. Residents in the Dexter-Linwood Cordon deserve requested services. As always we’ll post our events and request ALL interested individuals to help keep clean and beautify our neighborhood. You can always contact me for these events.
