GSSEM is celebrating Women's History Month and National Girl Scout Week by highlighting Girl Scouts who are putting courage, confidence, and character in action.

Meet Gold Award Girl Scout, Jasmine Hunley! For her Gold Award project, Jasmine created an educational program advocating for renewable energy after being inspired by a trip to the United Nations where she served as a delegate to the UN 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women. She presented to community groups and energy leaders, reaching nearly 300 people and sparking conversations about the importance of transitioning to sustainable energy sources.
