Access to capital can change everything but having people who believe in your vision can make all the difference.

For Lavelle, the Black Leaders Detroit Building Fund wasn’t just a no-interest loan. It was an opportunity to work with a team committed to helping Detroit developers move their projects forward and reinvest in our communities.

The next round of the Building Fund is scheduled to open in early 2027. While applications aren’t open yet, now is the perfect time to review the eligibility requirements and start preparing your project.
