We are pleased to share exciting news about the future of Brilliant Detroit. We have selected Tarsha Gale as our next Executive Director!

She brings a wealth of experience leading programs and strategic initiatives that address systemic barriers and create pathways to success. Our co-founder and friend, Cindy Eggleton, will become the full-time CEO of our national effort, Brilliant Cities.

Just like Cindy, Tarsha believes every child deserves to be healthy, school-ready and surrounded by support. When you see her, please be sure to say hello!

We invite you to join us for a 6-week series of engaging nutrition classes, led by a certified Nutrition Educator, as part of the FoodSmarts program.

Throughout the series, participants will explore key topics such as setting SMART nutrition goals, understanding food groups, and maintaining a balanced diet. Additionally, there will be opportunities to develop cooking skills and sample a variety of nutritious and delicious recipes.
