This is a late post in response to last summer's overturning of Roe v. Wade, however, our stance does not change. The ability to make a choice about your body, for health (both physical and mental) and safety should be yours alone.
Reproductive rights, though, are not limited to abortion rights. There is the matter of necessary hygeine products costing more simply because it is made for the feminine entity. Or the fact that minority women (and their infants) have the highest mortality rate when it comes to giving birth, because they are not being heard or listened to when informing their providers something is "off" or "feels not right".
These are not the only instances of reproductive rights, but African Girls' Day Out supports the rights of the feminine entity.
