Hello family & friends! While I was not appointed to the Board, I want to express my gratitude to the Harper Woods Board of Education for their time and consideration during the interview process. Congratulations to Mr. Willie Smith on his appointment, I trust that he has the best interest to serve and support our students.

As a precinct delegate and a parent, I remain committed to staying engaged in the success of our public schools. Together, we can continue to support our children’s education and foster a vibrant community!

Thank you for your ongoing support!

I am incredibly grateful that education became the turning point in my life, opening doors to endless possibilities. From my experiences with Eastern Michigan University Upward Bound and Washtenaw Community College, to becoming the first in my family to earn a Bachelor's degree from Liberty University, education became my superpower.

Just this week, I had the incredible honor of meeting President Boer of Calvin University here in . It was an opportunity for me to share the impactful work I have been doing in Wayne County, and discuss ways to engage more students collaboratively as they start on their higher education journey.

Education has the power to transform lives. It is a life-changing tool that can unlock opportunities for individuals who, due to circumstances beyond their control, would otherwise be unable to access these opportunities. Through my own personal journey, I have witnessed firsthand the immense impact education can have on someone's life trajectory.

I am determined to fight for greater accessibility and affordability to education, ensuring that it becomes a transformative force for every individual.

We had an amazing time at the Ford Resource & Engagement Center (FREC East) for the LinkedIn Night! 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽✨ This event truly showcased the power of networking and career mobility resources, all under one roof. From getting free professional headshots to valuable onsite employment training, and even getting my resume and LinkedIn profile reviewed, it was an absolute game-changer! 💼💪🏾 The best part was meeting incredible local residents who are determined to enhance their career opportunities and investing their time in self-improvement. Feeling inspired and grateful to be part of such an empowering community! ✊🏾🌟
