Warm weather brings opportunities for great outdoor recreation, but these rising temps also bring out the dreaded ticks.
Did you know? Humans are at most risk of a tick bite between May and July when larva ticks mature into nymphs. Let's talk about prevention!
Preventing tick-related risks starts before you even go outside. When you're getting ready to leave the house for a favorite hike, try covering up. Wear pants or long sleeves, tuck your shirt in, and wear one of those fancy hats with a flap behind the neck. Wearing light colors also helps spot ticks before they bite.
