Good morning to everyone! Thank you for the comments about the photo, but those of you that REALLY know me the photo wasn't the focus for me. My daughter made me take the photo (LOL) and it was time for an update. But the real focus is the things that God has entrusted me to do and that is to continue to speak life in the community that he has blessed me to love and care for. For the ministry of showing that "Love Is What Love Does" for REAL!
Even though it's hard trying to keep the doors open, I work 4-5 contracts to try to keep things afloat and with what we are able to raise weekly and the blessings by Zelle & CashApp, that we are able to receive from those near and far, still causes us to fall short monthly! However in spite of it all, God keeps allowing us to make it through and change people's lives weekly. If someone would have told me 5 years ago that I would be celebrating 4 years of Pastoralshipness (let's make up a word) I would have just laughed and said what Albert Mitchell would have said and that would have been "Child Please".
But here I am working night and day to complete the assignment that GOD HAS EN-TRUSTED me to do. An assignment that I don't take for granted or lightly to serve as Pastor of some great people. We are small in number but the love is REAL! and I am thankful for what he is doing, going to do in years to come.
Thanks again, keep us in your prayers as we continue to be the neighborhood church on the corner. That provides those from far, and near with a kind word, a hug/smile, genuine love, hope, clothings/food/household items, etc. but most of all that they do matter and that there are still ministries in 2026 that believe that, the God that we serve is still REAL...real in our soul today why because he has washed all of our sins away, and that Jesus love just bubbles over in our soul.
So, please continue to send your prayers, love and support as we keep our eyes on the assignment that God has given unto us....and I close with asking you a question "What is your assignment?"
