🌟 The Larry E. Wynn Sr. Community Leader Scholarship 🌟 LINK IN BIO TO APPLY 📲

The Larry E. Wynn Sr. Community Leader Scholarship, named in honor of Rashad’s grandfather, whose passion for education, mentorship, and empowering Black boys and men left an indelible mark on communities in Michigan, Mississippi, and South Carolina.

Larry E. Wynn Sr. was born and raised in Pelahatchie, Mississippi, and moved to Detroit in the 1960s to escape the oppressive segregation in the South. He spent much of his career at General Motors, but his true calling was empowering the next generation of leaders. Larry was a mentor who dedicated his time to guiding and uplifting young Black men, encouraging them to pursue education and personal growth.

The scholarship, established by , will provide a $500 scholarship to a deserving young Black male who is a Detroit senior and plans to attend an HBCU.

📝How to Apply:
- Be a senior in high school, Class of 2025
- Be a resident of Detroit, MI.
- Be planning to enroll in a HBCU in Fall 2025
- Write a 500-word paper on “Why is community important and how do you intend to use your college education to impact the city of Detroit?”

Deadline: May 1st, 2025

This scholarship is more than just financial assistance - it’s about continuing the legacy of my grandfather’s leadership, education, and service. Let’s honor his memory by empowering future leaders who will carry his mission forward.
