📚 This Banned Books Week, Graced2Grow Little Free Library is celebrating the freedom to read.

Books do more than entertain us. They teach us, challenge us, introduce us to experiences beyond our own, and help us think more deeply about the world around us.

Some books are challenged because of their language, characters, topics, ideas, or viewpoints. Protecting the freedom to read does not mean agreeing with every book on the shelf. It means giving readers the opportunity to ask questions, think critically, explore different perspectives, and make informed choices for themselves.

That kind of access helps build stronger readers, stronger families, and stronger communities.

At Graced2Grow, we believe different stories can help create a more informed, compassionate, and understanding community.

📖 You’re welcome to take a book, leave a book, or add books to the library anytime.

If you have a larger donation or need help arranging a drop-off or pickup, contact Kelley Duren-Jones.

📚 Happy International Literacy Day!

At Graced to Grow H.O.P.P. Community, we believe literacy builds brighter futures. 💛

We’re grateful to Kiwanis and Making Spirits Bright for partnering with us to distribute over 500 books at our 4th Annual Back-to-School Fun Day!

Today, we also celebrate our fellow authors, educators, literacy advocates, and Little Free Library community who continue putting books into the hands of readers.

📖 Books open minds. Education changes lives. Together, we can make an impact.

Another special Graced to Grow HOPP Community 4th Annual Back-to-School Fun Day moment! ✨️

Alex received the basketball generously donated by the Detroit Pistons — and shared some exciting news: his first 6th-grade grades are an A and a B! 🎉📚

He’s also a regular visitor to our Little Free Library. 💚 Keep reading, learning, and growing, Alex!

Thank you, Detroit Pistons, for helping us continue the heart of giving. 🏀

The heart of H.O.P.P. continues.

Our 4th Annual Back-to-School Fun Day may be over, but the heart of giving continues. 🎒

Today Kelley Duren-Jones had the joy of delivering a complimentary Outdoor Adventure Center Family 4-Pack, generously donated by the Michigan DNR Outdoor Adventure Center, to one of our Back-to-School Fun Day families!

And while she was there, she couldn’t resist supporting Kourtney Collins and All Things Fair with some delicious lemonade. 🍋 Because community is about more than one event—it’s about continuing to show up for one another.

The heart of H.O.P.P. continues. 💚

📚💚 Little Free Library Spotlight

Three years ago, our Little Free Library was a big hit at our Back-to-School Fun Day—and today, the mission continues!

At this year’s 4th Annual Back-to-School Fun Day, we were blessed to distribute over 400 FREE books to children and families. 📖❤️

Because putting a book in a child’s hands is about more than reading—it opens the door to imagination, learning, confidence, and possibility.

Our Little Free Library is here year-round:
📚 Take a Book. Share a Book. Give a Book. Keep a Book - build your own library.

We welcome book donations to help keep our Little Free Library filled and reading accessible to our community. 💚 DM Kelley Duren-Jones for more info.
