50 plus students in a kindergarten class...

Nolan Elementary School was cited Tuesday by the Detroit Fire Marshals Office for overcrowding after a parent complained to fire officials that too many children were in her son's kindergarten class. The parent says a kindergarten class had 50-plus students.

Class size is still an issue in some DPS schools!

Detroit More than 200 elementary and middle school classrooms are over class size limits at Detroit Public Schools, according to a survey by the Detroit Federation of Teachers.
