Muslim Center Chess CLub

The Muslim Center Chess Club (MC3) is a community activity that allows us to enjoy being together through learning and playing the game of chess. It is for everyone 6 years and older at all levels of play. MC3 is a space where we can build positive relationships with the youth that will last a lifetime. We use the game of chess to teach them Islamic etiquette and critical thinking skills. Class is Saturday from 3-5pm and is held in the multi-purpose room. We offer refreshments for participants and ask that everyone sign in before they partake. There are open games that take place separate from the class. Our head coach Prof Nadir conducts the class with the assistance of Coach Ali Ahmad and Coach Khalil. The staff provides various levels of training for beginners to advanced. So whether you have played for years or would like to learn, THIS IS FOR YOU!
