🎉 Congratulations to MBBA member Kimberly Fisher on winning her primary for Michigan's 11th House District! 👏🏾

You know Kimberly as the owner of Lily's & Elise Tea House, the French-style high tea experience she brought to life on Detroit's historic Livernois Avenue of Fashion, where she's also one of just three tea sommeliers in Michigan and the only African American one.

Now she's carrying that same vision to Lansing.
This is exactly why small business representation in politics matters. When entrepreneurs have a seat at the table, our communities are stronger for it. 💛

MBBA Radio Day 🎙️

This Tuesday morning, MBBA member Jessica Tidwell joins the Mason & Starr Morning Show on 105.9 Kiss FM.

Jessica is the co-founder of — the only minority and women-owned craft vinyl and branding store in Michigan. Founded in Detroit in 2020, DTown Vinyl started with craft supplies on Facebook Marketplace and has grown into a one-stop shop serving everyday hobbyists and large corporations alike. They're also the only authorized Siser North America distributor in the city — the world's largest manufacturer of heat transfer vinyl.

Every week, we bring an MBBA member to the mic to share their story. Catch us every Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM.
