The Jr. Block Club is getting ready to become Waste Warriors with an incredible Eco Art Project led by Detroit artist Walter Bailey!💚
Our youth will roll up their sleeves, turn recycled materials into art, and create a permanent Jr. Block Club sign for our neighborhood lots—a lasting symbol of creativity, pride, and sustainability.
This is more than making art...
🌱 It’s protecting our environment.
💡 It’s learning that waste can become something beautiful.
🤝 It’s building community together.
✨ It’s showing our young people that they have the power to transform the world around them.
We’re proud to collaborate with the City of Detroit Office of Sustainability on a project that inspires creativity while caring for our planet.
