💙 HELP OUR YOUTH KEEP GOING! 💙

The Burns Seneca Fischer Jr. Block Club is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to give neighborhood kids the opportunities they are asking for—music, arts, sports, community activities, and simply the chance to be kids.

As we head back to school, donations are especially important. Your support helps provide:
🎨 Arts & creative programming
🎵 Music & cultural activities
🏒 Sports opportunities & sponsorships
🎒 Back-to-school needs
🧼 Hygiene products
👕 Clothing and other basic necessities
🤝 Community programs led by and for our youth

Every dollar goes directly toward helping our kids participate, create, learn, and grow.

Our young people have ideas. They have talent. They have energy. They just need adults and our community to help open the doors.

If you can help, please consider making a donation to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit:
💰 Cash App: $jrblockclub
Zelle: [email protected]

No donation is too small. Every contribution helps us say YES when a young person asks, “Can we do this?”

Thank you for believing in our kids and investing in the future of our neighborhood. ❤️

Youth-led. Community-powered. Detroit strong.

♻️🎨 BIG things are coming! 🎨♻️

The Jr. Block Club is getting ready to become Waste Warriors with an incredible Eco Art Project led by Detroit artist Walter Bailey!💚

Our youth will roll up their sleeves, turn recycled materials into art, and create a permanent Jr. Block Club sign for our neighborhood lots—a lasting symbol of creativity, pride, and sustainability.

This is more than making art...
🌱 It’s protecting our environment.
💡 It’s learning that waste can become something beautiful.
🤝 It’s building community together.
✨ It’s showing our young people that they have the power to transform the world around them.

We’re proud to collaborate with the City of Detroit Office of Sustainability on a project that inspires creativity while caring for our planet.

Save the Date and show up August 14th at noon—you won’t want to miss what these amazing young artists create! 💚♻️🎨

Time to get out and smell the flowers! Spring has sprung! 💐 In a world where youth are often overstimulated and digitally saturated, something as simple as noticing flowers isn’t trivial—it’s a way to slow down, recharge, and develop a more balanced, attentive mind. 🌿🌲🍃🍂
