Since Eric had been home from a wrongful conviction he’s been working tirelessly to see change in the criminal legal system. This report is truly a win because it is the blueprint for change! There were 40 Contributing factors that led to his wrongful conviction. Their have been 25 recommendations that are to change laws, polices and procedures within the Detroit Police Department, Wayne County Prosecutors Office and The 3rd Circuit court.

Our keynote speaker Tricia Rojo Bushnell and Our Special Guess speaker Andre Brown lit the stage with truth, and our community responded with action. Together, we’re building systems rooted in accountability, restoration, and healing.
