The Zeta Amicae of Detroit are hosting an Informational Meeting for women who are passionate about service, sisterhood, and uplifting the city of Detroit. If you’ve been looking for a way to give back alongside a dynamic group of women, we want to meet you!

📍 Event Details:
* When: Saturday, February 28, 2026
* Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
* Where: Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament
(9844 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48202)
* Attire: Business Attire Required

🤝 Membership Criteria:
We are looking for women who:
* Are 19 years of age or older.
* Do not hold a Bachelor’s degree.
* Have a heart for volunteering and community service.

The joined Amicae from across the state of Michigan for an awesome day of service with Samaritans Feet.

Samaritan's Feet is a humanitarian-aid organization that gives hope and healing through the gift of shoes to those in need around the world.

The "One City" initiative is a local event designed to foster unity, empathy, and lasting impact in a specific community by bringing together leaders, neighbors, and public service personnel to distribute new shoes to children, adults, and seniors in need. These events create a powerful act of service, providing hope and dignity through the fundamental foundation of new shoes, while encouraging community engagement and collaboration for a sustainable, long-term positive change.

700 children signed up to participate in the One City Detroit event this year!

The Detroit Zeta Amicae are wearing red for Heart Health!

Killing one woman every minute (cardiovascular disease accounts for 35% of deaths in women globally)* heart disease is the number one killer of women in the U.S. This statistical finding spurred a movement by the American Heart Association called National Wear Red Day, which is held on the first Friday in February annually.

The Amicae are joining the women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated & wearing red!

Begin a lifestyle change this month by participating in the American Heart Association 60 Mile Walking Challenge aimed at strengthening your heart and health. Couple your movement routine with healthier food choices to enhance your weekly menu by downloading their free recipe guide.
