Hanukkah is an 8-day Jewish holiday, known as the wintertime "festival of lights," celebrated with nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and fried foods. Hanukkah starts today and will go until December 15th.

Alpha Sigma Nu will be having its annual Sock Drive from Nov. 20- Dec 11. Donations boxes are located around campus and all donations will go to the Pope Francis Center and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Help us keep the community warm this winter!!!

Students of Jesuit institutions of higher education distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service. They distinguished themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service in their intellectual, civic, religious, or professional pursuits. They band together and encourage those so honored to understand. They appreciate and promote the ideals of Jesuit education. They encourage the establishment and proper functioning of Chapters in accredited Jesuit institutions of higher education and they encourage the establishment and proper functioning of Alumni Clubs.

Alpha Sigma Nu is so much more than a honor society. As an organization on campus we hold different fundraisers and drives that help the community around us. We have members that are in both undergraduate and graduate programs and stay connected with alumni. Our three main values are scholarship, loyalty, and service. We live that mission by putting Jesuit values into practice to try to enrich our university's campus and the community right outside our gates.
