This week, we shared the importance of affirmations with the girls. We drew inspiration from a beautiful painting by entitled “I am enough.”

Don’t you know that you are enough? Look yourself in the mirror daily and tell yourself “I am enough” - that way when the world tries to tell you different or self doubt creeps in, you’ll know better than to internalize that negativity, and you’ll remember exactly who you are!

Meet SHE’s Board Secretary, Tiffany. Tiffany was raised and reared on Detroit’s east side and graduated from Martin Luther King Jr., Sr High School in 2001. She participated in many young adult enrichment programs including DAPCEP and Horizon Upward Bounds. Tiffany has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Resources and a Masters of Organizational Development. Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family - including her son and daughter, hosting events for her family and friends, partaking in new experiences and traveling the world.

Tiffany has a wealth of experiences helping companies identify organizational efficiencies and leveraging the resources within a company to propel it forward. She believes in listening to people to learn their story and using her learnings to help. This experiences goes well beyond her career and in her ability to lift up you men and women in the communities where she lives and work. This passion is what drew Tiffany to SHE’s mission. Statistics show that teens involved in programs like SHE for Girls are 55% more likely to go to college. Our goal at SHE is to help teens embark on purpose driven careers aligned with their purpose. We support teens with the tools, information and resources to eliminate barriers to access to college. Join us on this journey in transforming HERstory, one girl at a time.
