For the recent storm debris.
The city is relaxing the rules regarding tying as long as the debris is piled on the berm/curb. They will not go on private property to collect tree debris. So, please help your neighbors.

Ombudsman for City of Detroit Sherry Gay Dagnogo & Candidates for State of Michigan House of Representatives District 4 Krystal Larsosa, & Mayor Byron Nolan of Inkster running for 12th Congressional District against Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

This is a reminder, if you are interested:
Normally meetings take place on the 1st Monday of the month at St John Lutheran Church located at 4950 Oakman Blvd
However for August and September the meetings will be held on the 2nd Monday. (Next meeting: Monday, August 11th - 6pm)
Led by Janice Hazel, the meeting will focus on the official formation of the Aviation Sub – Neighborhood Association, including a vote on the Mission/Vision Statement, Bylaws, and Constitution.

Due to a recent miscommunication, you have another opportunity to connect with City Council President Mary Sheffield during tomorrow’s Walk & Talk and briefly afterward.

Many in the neighborhood have shared concerns about some of the changes we’re seeing in Aviation Sub. I’m happy to announce that City Council President Mary Sheffield will be joining us for a Walk & Talk to better understand these concerns on Monday, October 28th, at 4 p.m.
