DBFLF Application Tour is here.
This is the start of our Detroit Black Farmer Land Fund Application Season!!!

We’re pulling up to libraries across the city, in person, with intention. Not just to walk through our application, but to build real skills around how to apply for any grant.

This is for folks who want to understand:
• how to build a real budget
• how to shape a strong narrative
• how to define your project scope
• how to move with timelines that make sense

This is for past awardees, for those who applied and didn’t get selected, and especially for new farmers and folks trying to find their entry point.
We’re not gatekeeping process , we’re practicing it together.

Come sit, ask questions And Let’s develop quality applications together !

Event registration in our Linktree for all Application Tour locations until tickets run out!

Applications Open June 19, 2026

The DBFLF Work n Chill is back.

Join us for a Community workday with
The Forigin Neighborhood Coalition
May 30th from 11-3pm.

Work n Chill is about getting work done while building and deepening relationships amongst DBFLF awardees. We come together on the land to support each other’s projects, share knowledge, exchange stories, and move at the pace of community. What grows here isn’t just crops, but trust, accountability, and a shared vision for Black land stewardship in Detroit.
Whether we’re weeding, planting, building, or just breaking bread, Work n Chill is a reminder that none of this work is meant to be done alone.
Pull up, bring your hands, your heart, and your people.
