What an incredible day of service and community! 💚

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined the Equity Alliance of Michigan for our Motor City Makeover on May 30th. Because of your hard work, dedication, and community spirit, we were able to help beautify our neighborhood, refresh our community garden, and make a lasting impact right here in Detroit.

From pulling weeds and planting greenery to cleaning up shared spaces, every volunteer played an important role in making this event a success. Your willingness to give your time and energy shows the true power of community coming together for a common purpose.

We are grateful for each and every volunteer, supporter, and community partner who helped make this day possible. Together, we’re creating cleaner, greener, and stronger neighborhoods for everyone.

What an extraordinary and inspiring weekend it has been, one that truly embodied the power, purpose, and presence of women leading with excellence. From the celebration of brilliance at Women of Excellence, to the intentional, impactful conversations at Real Leaders Serve, and the forward-moving energy of Legacy in Motion, every moment reflected the strength of women who are not only making history but shaping the future. This weekend was a reminder that when women come together in authenticity, service, and leadership, we create spaces that uplift, empower, and ignite lasting change. I am both honored and energized to have been in rooms filled with such vision, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to community and legacy.
