Brilliant Detroit is kicking off the new school year with an afternoon of food, music, fun, family activities, community connection, and a FREE backpack giveaway! 💙🧡

Families with children Pre-K through 4th grade are invited! 🎒✨ Registration is required for the backpack giveaway, and supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

First week for summer camp for Dexter Linwood was a success! Today starts week two! If you have a child going into first to fourth grade there is still time to sign up, This Friday, July 24th is the last day to sign up for camp. Please reach out to Ms. Ashley or Mrs. Sonia for information!

Power outages may have postponed the start of our Summer Camp until next Monday, but they couldn’t stop us from showing our families just how much they mean to us. 💙🧡

At Dexter-Linwood, we are incredibly grateful for every family that trusts us to be a part of their village as their children learn, grow, and thrive. When plans changed unexpectedly, we wanted our families to know that we see them, appreciate them, and would never take their time or trust for granted.

Mrs. Sonia and I were excited to host a special Ice Cream Party filled with smiles, laughter, and community! 🍦 We enjoyed a warm meal together, raffled off two beautiful gift baskets and LEGO sets for our amazing parents, and the kids had a blast getting colorful arm paintings from our one-and-only, talented Mrs. Sonia!!!!

Moments like these remind us that we’re more than a community hub—we’re family. Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you and your children. We can’t wait to kick off Summer Camp next Monday and make this an unforgettable summer!

Dear Summer Camp Families,
We regret to inform you that the power at our Summer Camp Site has not been restored. 😔 Instead of waiting for daily updates, camp will be canceled for the rest of this week. WE WILL start camp on Monday July 13th. 🌞Our bus will be at the hub by 9:00 am. Plan to arrive by 8:45 am for bus service. 🚌 ***PLEASE join us at the hub TOMORROW for our Ice Cream Party!🎉🍦 Will will start at 1 pm and lunch will be served. 🌭We are also raffling off two special gifts! 🎟️SIGN UP HERE!
