Detroit homeowners, the HOPE deadline is quickly approaching!

Still need to apply for the City of Detroit's Homeowners Property Exemption (HOPE) Program? Join us for the next Healthy Homes Resource Event and Foreclosure Prevention Day to get assistance before the November 6th deadline! 🏠

Through HOPE, eligible Detroit homeowners may qualify to reduce or eliminate their current year property taxes. Homeowners approved for HOPE may also apply for Wayne County's Pay As You Stay (PAYS) program to help address back property taxes.

The deadline to apply is Friday, November 6th at 4:30 PM.

Take a look at what’s coming up!��MiSide, Wayne Metro, Bridging Communities, and Matrix Human Services are offering Homebuyer Education Workshops from October 9 - 30 to help you navigate the homebuying process and understand down payment assistance programs.�*Correction: Bridging Communities Homebuyer Education Workshop will be happening on October 24th.

If you’re looking to build generational wealth or want to learn more about credit building, join Bridging Communities, Central Detroit Christian CDC, Wayne Metro, and Matrix Human Services for Financial Wellness Workshops happening October 9 – 28.��Lastly, if you’re currently renting, we’ve got you covered. Our Renters Workshops are being hosted by Wayne Metro on October 20 and Matrix Human Services on October 21! Detroit homeowners, do you know about the City of Detroit’s HOPE Program? 🏡
 
The City of Detroit’s Homeowners Property Exemption (HOPE) Program helps eligible Detroit homeowners reduce or eliminate their current year’s property taxes. Depending on eligibility, homeowners may receive a 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, or 10% property tax exemption.
