As Salaamu Alaikum, dear family,
We pray that your Eid was filled with barakah. that the meat was shared, the children were spoiled, the elders were called, the absent were remembered, and the gratitude was loud.
The sacred season does not end at Eid. We are still in the Days of Tashreeq — the 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul Hijjah. during which the Prophet ﷺ taught us to remember Allah abundantly, eat, drink, and rejoice.
"Remember Allah during the appointed days..."QURAN 2:203 · AL-BAQARAH
Thank you to everyone who fasted on Arafah, shared the survey link, gave to MANA, took a few minutes to be counted, tagged a friend, or made du'a for the work. You raced. You finished. The race goes on.
Here is what we are carrying forward from this sacred week:
The voices that joined the survey, everyone shapes what comes next
The gifts that came in across the network; they fund the leadership work, youth programming, and family initiatives ahead
The neighbors who showed up for each other, in Hamtramck, in San Diego, in every city we serve
The work that began with one believer at a time is the work that continues. From the bottom of our hearts: jazakum Allahu khairan.
