Once again the Detroit Chums assisted in dressing and inspecting the dolls for the Detroit Goodfellows. Our members dressed over 300 dolls that will be included a gift box given to underprivileged children at Christmas.

LunaFest was a success!! We would like to THANK all of you who supported Detroit Chums in our fundraising efforts. With your help, we were able to exceed our fundraising goal. The LunaFest movies were insightful, thought provoking and inspiring. We were honored to be able to be the exclusive host in the Detroit Area.

It's not too late to head to the grocery store to pick up the items you need to make a Cajun Casserole. We're Cooking with the Detroit Chums today at 4pm.

Here's what you'll need:
8 oz cream cheese
1 stick of butter (1/4 lb)
1 pound of peeled shrimp
1 medium diced onion
1/2 diced bell pepper
2 ribs celery -chopped
2 additional tablespoons of butter
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 can of mushrooms, drained
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon tabasco
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 pint crab meat
3/4 cup cooked rice
Sharp Cheddar cheese (grated)
Cracker or bread crumbs (optional)
Supplies:
8" x 12" glass casserole dish
Large Mixing Bowl
Medium mixing bowl (microwave safe)
