AVA ANGELO

Champions are built through hard work, perseverance, and a willingness to chase every opportunity. Ava has earned every opportunity through dedication both on and off the mat. A Michigan Freestyle State Champion, MHSAA State Qualifier, 2026 Fargo Qualifier, and Rochester Christian University signee, Ava has established herself as one of Michigan's premier young wrestlers. This summer, she'll proudly represent Beat the Streets Detroit at the USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships before continuing her academic and athletic career at Rochester Christian University. The future is bright for Ava, and we're proud to have her representing Detroit on the national stage.

BRYNNA ALWELL

Some athletes let their results speak for themselves, and Brynna Alwell has done exactly that. An MHSAA State Runner Up, Team Michigan USA Wrestling National Dual Team competitor, and 2026 Fargo Qualifier, Brynna has earned her place among Michigan's best through determination, discipline, and countless hours of hard work. She'll proudly represent both Beat the Streets Detroit and Team Michigan at the USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships, continuing a wrestling journey defined by resilience and steady growth. We can't wait to see what she accomplishes next.

EDEN DEAN

Success isn't measured only by medals, it's measured by the commitment to improve every single day. Eden Dean embodies that mindset. As a Beat the Streets Detroit National Team member and 2026 Fargo Qualifier, Eden has earned the opportunity to compete at the USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships through determination, resilience, and an unwavering work ethic. She represents everything Beat the Streets Detroit stands for, and we're excited to watch her compete on one of wrestling's biggest stages while proudly representing the City of Detroit.

MYA BRANDENBERG

Hard work creates opportunities, and Mya Brandenberg has earned every one of them. A 2026 MHSAA All-State wrestler, Regional Champion, District Champion, Team Michigan USA Wrestling National Dual Team member, Beat the Streets Detroit National Team member, and Northern Michigan University signee, Mya has established herself as one of Michigan's top competitors. This summer she'll proudly represent Beat the Streets Detroit at the USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships before beginning the next chapter of her wrestling career at Northern Michigan University. Her accomplishments are a testament to years of dedication, and we're excited to see what lies ahead.
